Dr Louise Sung - Chiropractor

Dr Louise Sung  is the Director, Principal Chiropractor and Founder of Pyrmont Chiropractic Centre.

She has a Bachelor of Science from Sydney University (1990), a Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University (1992) and an International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma (ICSSD, 2001). She is an Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (ICCSP).

Dr Louise has undertaken further extensive training in Paediatric and Developmental Chiropractic and completed courses in Activator Methods, Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), Impulse Adjusting Instruments, Denneroll Spinal Orthotics and a range of other chiropractic adjusting techniques. Her areas of special interest are sports injuries, pregnancy care and chiropractic for kids. Because of her broad experience, Dr Louise is able to adapt her approach to suit the needs of every individual from newborn to 100+ (should any of us get there one day!).

It was this experience that saw her appointed as an IOC Chiropractor at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and at the annual Sydney International Tennis Open. Personal participation in grade waterpolo, ocean swimming and surfing has been resurrected after a short time out creating to two beautiful children.

Dr Louise continues to be at the forefront of chiropractic care with attendance at numerous seminars and keeps up to date with the latest Chiropractic journals. Her proudest moments are when a patient tells someone else of their positively life-changing Chiropractic Health journey. It is truely the highest form of praise and drives her continuing passion to make Chiropractic Health Care accessible to all Australians without prejudice or misinformation.

Dr Louise looks forward to welcoming you to Pyrmont Chiropractic Centre and working together to help you reach your health and wellness goals.

Dr Israel Lewis - Chiropractor

Dr Israel Lewis has a Bachelor of Science degree from Otago University and a Bachelor of Chiropractic from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic.

While studying anatomy and structural biology at university, Dr Israel was fascinated by the complexity of the human body. Yet it is seamlessly integrated for optimal performance provided all systems are functioning. These systems are coordinated by the nervous system and protected by the spine.

This initial understanding lead Dr Israel to Chiropractic; a safe, natural, holistic approach to health, wellness and performance. Chiropractic melds the physical being with the healthy lifestyle choices of nutrition, exercise, rest and positive mental outlook so one can reach their true potential.

Dr Israel stays active and fit with jiu jitsu, ice hockey and calisthenics but originally started with a strong dancing background. In early 2014, he was fortunate to be named the team chiropractor for the New Zealand U20 National Ice Hockey team as they competed in the IIHF World Cup in Europe.

Dr Israel is a passionate chiropractor whose goal is to play an active role in changing the health paradigm of Australians to a preventative, proactive model where individuals together with their communities are functioning better than before. His motto "Life's a sport, so we need to play it at our best!"
