Our Team at Pyrmont Chiropractic Centre
Dr Louise SUNG
Dr Louise Sung is the Director, Principal and Founder of Pyrmont Chiropractic Centre.
She has a Bachelor of Science from Sydney University and a Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University. She is an Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (ICCSP) with 25 years of clinical experience.
As well as utilising standard chiropractic techniques such as Diversifed, Gonstead and Drop piece, Dr Louise has undertaken extensive training in Paediatric and Developmental Chiropractic and completed courses in Activator Methods, Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), Impulse Adjusting Instruments and Denneroll Spinal Orthotics. Her areas of interest include sports injuries, injury prevention, pregnancy care, chiropractic for kids and pre/post-surgical rehabilitation.
Dr Louise continues to be at the forefront of chiropractic care with attendance at numerous seminars and keeps up to date with the latest Chiropractic journals. Her proudest moments are when a patient tells someone else of their life-changing Chiropractic health journey. It is truely the highest form of praise and drives her continuing passion to make Chiropractic health care accessible to all Australians without prejudice or misinformation.
When Dr Louise is not in the office, she is in the water fuelling her other passions - swimming, surfing, waterpolo and skiing (frozen water!). Years as an athlete, manager, clinician and administrator in these sports saw her appointed as an IOC Chiropractor at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and annually at the Sydney International Tennis Open. She contines to volunteer at local and international events as much as she can in between raising two wonderful children.
Dr Louise looks forward to welcoming you to Pyrmont Chiropractic Centre and working together to help you reach your health and wellness goals.

Dr Israel Lewis
Dr Israel Lewis has a Bachelor of Science degree from Otago University and a Bachelor of Chiropractic from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic.
While studying anatomy and structural biology at university, Dr Israel was fascinated by the complexity of the human body. Yet it is seamlessly integrated for optimal performance provided all systems are functioning. These systems are coordinated by the nervous system and protected by the spine.
This initial understanding lead Dr Israel to Chiropractic; a safe, natural, holistic approach to health, wellness and performance. Chiropractic melds the physical being with the healthy lifestyle choices of nutrition, exercise, rest and positive mental outlook so one can reach their true potential.
Dr Israel stays active and fit with jiu jitsu, ice hockey and calisthenics but originally started with a strong dancing background. In early 2014, he was fortunate to be named the team chiropractor for the New Zealand U20 National Ice Hockey team as they competed in the IIHF World Cup in Europe.
Dr Israel is a passionate chiropractor whose goal is to play an active role in changing the health paradigm of Australians to a preventative, proactive model where individuals together with their communities are functioning better than before. His motto "Life's a sport, so we need to play it at our best!"

Jason enjoys providing chiropractic care and aims to improve the health and functionality of all his patients, believing that people can enjoy themselves most when they are free of pain and dysfunction. He relishes the opportunity to help individuals and his passion to do so continues to grow every time he hears of the positive responses his patients have.
He provides his patients with a thorough assessment, chiropractic treatment, and self-management strategies. He focuses on addressing not only their symptoms, but the cause of their problems to provide longer relief and prevent recurrence.

Staying active is very important to Jason, having trained for years in martial arts at competition level throughout his youth and now tries to keep his body healthy and functioning well by regularly visiting the gym and playing Oztag. He appreciates the importance of movement to a healthy body and wants to encourage people to get moving to help improve their health.
Dr Jason looks forward to providing you with his best possible care and is excited to help you return to your best.
