Dr Louise SUNG
Chiropractor
Dr Louise Sung is the Director, Principal and Founder of Pyrmont Chiropractic Centre.
She has a Bachelor of Science from Sydney University and a Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University. She is an Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (ICCSP) with 25 years of clinical experience.
As well as utilising standard chiropractic techniques such as Diversifed, Gonstead and Drop piece, Dr Louise has undertaken extensive training in Paediatric and Developmental Chiropractic and completed courses in Activator Methods, Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), Impulse Adjusting Instruments and Denneroll Spinal Orthotics. Her areas of interest include sports injuries, injury prevention, pregnancy care, chiropractic for kids, pre/post-surgical rehabilitation and laser therapy.
Dr Louise continues to be at the forefront of chiropractic care with attendance at numerous seminars and keeps up to date with the latest Chiropractic journals. Her proudest moments are when a patient tells someone else of their life-changing Chiropractic health journey. It is truly the highest form of praise and drives her continuing passion to make Chiropractic health care accessible to all Australians without prejudice or misinformation.
When Dr Louise is not in the office, she is in the water fueling her other passions - swimming, surfing, waterpolo and skiing (frozen water!). Years as an athlete, manager, clinician and administrator in these sports saw her appointed as an IOC Chiropractor at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.. She continues to volunteer at local and international events as much as she can in between raising her family.
Dr Louise looks forward to welcoming you to Pyrmont Chiropractic Centre and working together to help you reach your health and wellness goals.
